Love 'At First Sight'

I did a little nail polish shopping today. Having well kept nails is not easy to achieve when you are a makeup artist, constantly working with your hands and being  that I'm so OCD means my fingers are always in disinfectants. I'm sure it's why my nails always chip, split and break...at least that's the excuse I'm using!

I was looking for a nice, neutral pink/beige to coat my French Polish. I've never been able to find the perfect shade, but today I struck gold with OPI's 'At First Sight'. I am wearing 2 coats sans  the French Polish and it's absolutely beautiful!
Definitely the perfect colour for a Bride on her wedding day! A gorgeous translucent hue; it has a reflection, almost like looking at very clean glass!

I also bought OPI Chip Skip - an undercoat that says it should keep my nails chip free, and OPI RapiDry Top Coat which seals your nails dry almost instantly!

My pretty little fingers are ready for a day of back to back jobs tomorrow...defying the disinfectant!

The OPI website now has a great feature that allows you to virtually try shades of nail polish.  You can even customise the hand for your own skin tone and nail length!

I've tested out the colours that I already have in my nail kit, and they look very close on my PC screen.

I'm such a tool. I always put Chip Skip on as a top coat *sigh*
